i was wondering if purchasing a carb spacer will improve the proformance of my car at all. Right now Im running a 350 w/ performer intake and carb, comp cams 268H cam and lightly massaged fairly stock 194 heads.
Thanks guys

It really depend on the engine. Some engines really respond well to them, on some it doesn't make a difference. The general rule of thumb is a 4 hole spacer will help low end torque, an open spacer will help with top end HP. Typically they won't change the engine a bunch, but help "adjust" the power band to where you want/need it. Of course there are always exceptions, and there are different styles of spacers. The easiest thing to do, is try one and see if it helps. An open spacer will help if your engine wants more plenum volume. I had a 383 with an RPM Air Gap and it did not run well without the 2" open spacer.
