Kevin,
Best way I have found is elbow grease with the scraper. Are your windows out of the car? If so, then you could think about using a cleaner or something that will break up the glue. Best not to do that if the windows are in the car (unless you don't like your interior, I guess).

Razor blade as Frank said is the only way.

Kevin if your talking about the aftermarket type of window tint film heres the easy way. You have to soak it with amonia.... spray it multiple times and let it soak if you have a bubble or blister cut it to allow faster penetration. Start peeling it in that area while continuing to spray it as you remove it....you will be able to remove it as a whole piece with some time and patience then clean the glue film with windex....Worked great for me

The windows are still in the car. It is aftermarket tint. The quarter window may have to come out since that is what I'm working on, which will make things easier. The rear window could be a bear. Thanks for the help!

Kevin, this is what I do for a living. The way I do it is to try to get the tint to peel in one piece. Sometimes I do have to use a heat gun. If you do use a heat gun start at one end, spray the inside of the window with soap and water while getting the glass on the outside hot with the heat gun. start peeling the tint if possible, watch out it gets hot. After getting the tint off if the glue is left on the window (I can get the glue off with the tint, but it is an experience thing) use a razor blade, but keep the glass wet with soap and water, if you dont keep the glass wet it will scratch the glass and there is no getting the scratches out. On newer cars with the rear window defroster DONT use a razor blade on the back window with the lines it will destroy it. Instead use a brillo pad, it will work trust me, but will take a little longer and more elbow grease. Just go slow if this doesnt make sense I will try to explain it better. It is hard for me to explain things to some one else, just one of my downfalls

I purchased my car about a year and half ago from a guy in Las Vegas and because of the sun down there, he had limo tint on it so dark that it made me claustrophobic to drive in it!

First I let the car sit in the sun for a while to heat up the tint. I would guess a heat gun would work as well. Then, I sprayed a corner with ammonia spray and let it sit a few minutes. Then I pulled that corner up. I soaked the corner again and pulled. I continued to pull and spray. The trick is to pull from a top corner and get the ammonia so that it pools between the glass and the tint. Pull, spray, Pull spray...etc. It came off in one piece and most of the glue came off as well. The ammonia works really well dissolving the glue.

This might not work if the tints been on for many years. I'd try this before going at it with a razor though.
