I have a post about some floor pan surgury on a friends 65 Chevelle. We are new to this kind of work.

I'd like to know if the kick panel is flat and how the floor welds to it?

Does the lip of the replacement pan run up on it, or do I need to fabricate a lip and weld it to both the kick panel and the floorpan?

How far down does the kickpanel go past the plane of the floor?

Does it reach the inner rocker panel?

If anyone has pictures of a ongoing project 64-67 that shows this area let me know.
