Has anyone out there had success at removing scratches from windows? Such as windshield wiper scars, centerline scratches on wagon rear windows. Some very deep. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've taken out scratches with a glass polishing kit I got from Sears a couple of years ago. Run your fingernail over the scratch and if it is deep enough to catch your nail, it probably is too deep to polish.

In the Eastwood Company's monthly email they show a kit that's supposed to remove deep scratches. I was thinking about getting it myself. It comes with a couple of buffing wheels, three different compounds, and "detailed instructions". It's on sale for $6 off till January 7th. I think it was around $40. I've always been told to use some crest toothpaste. It will take out scratches.
