I tried out an IWATA LPH-400 spraygun today, simply awesome atomization and material transfer. My paint supplier has been trying to get me to give this gun a try for awhile now and I finally had the chance today. What well engineered tool. The pattern was consistant from top to bottom and delivered a 14" pattern at it's widest setting. It puts the clear on smoother than anything I've ever sprayed with before. The shops in my area have been switching to this gun at a steady rate, which sparked my interest. I'll be buying one soon. If anyone here is in the market for a new gun and has an oportunity to try one of these out don't pass it up. I'm impressed. Time to sell my Sata's and other guns. Just thought I'd pass this along. I agree completely
I bought one last year and really like it
It seems to need a little more air flow than others I've used

The demo model had a 1.4 tip but also available in a 1.3. I bought the 1.4 gun yesterday $360. You can find all the info on Iwata's web site. The guns don't require the High Flow air fittings like many others, a regular 1/4" air fitting works fine. They also have a 300 model which is a midsized gun and I plan to try that out soon, should be ideal for jambs and panel painting, bikes, etc.

Thanks, I think my nephew uses the 300, you can turn the cup any way you want, perfect for bikes.
