this weekend my mechanic is putting a 454 crate motor in my 71 ss that
has 350 in it, i am told the mounts are the same just in a different location
for the big block does anyone know for sure or can it just bolt right in were
they are

Some time ago I replaced a 350 with a 402 that I built in a 71 EC. The 402 came without mounts. I used everything off the mouse, no problems. I did replace the left mount with a urethane model before putting it in but it was the same style mount.
