I'm not sure where exactly where to post this, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. My brother in law brought home some emblems, look like fender emblems, that were his grandfather's. They look like they came off a big car/wagon...I'm guessing possibly an Impala. I have those same emblems on a 70 cheverolet Station wagon thats what they come off of.

In my Chevelle parts catalogs, they show up as 283-327 fender emblems used from 1964-67. This emblem was probably used for a lot of different cars, so I know they were used on more than a 70 station wagon.

I may be wrong here, but I thought those "flaged V" emblems came on all 327 cars and the "V" emblems without the flags were the 283 cars. Dave

My 67 has them and it has a 283... They were fairly common on Chevys.

Thanks a lot everyone, yeah, he was figureing they came off some kind of station wagon. He said his grandfather always had big cars.
