I own a 68 Chevelle. The radiator core support has two L shaped brackets that are welded to the bottom of the support and connected through a rubber bushing to the frame. I need to replace one of these. I was hoping to keep the rad core support and grind off one of the brackets and repace it with a new one -but I can't seem to find anyone that sells them- or even what they are called . Can anyone help me find someone who sells these.

Your gonna have to fine a good rust free core support (or a new repro) and cut the bracket off it if you want the bracket only. The piece you want, isn't reproduced that I know of. Your other option is to replace the entire core support with a repo. If you go that route, it won't be 100% correct but it should work. The repro's are advertised as 68's and 69's having the same part no. They aren't the same. There are subtle differences. The repro will work, but several holes, etc will not be correct for 68.
I agree with Bill. Have never seen the bracket at a repro part, but I have heard a lot of bad things about the repro radiator supports. If the rest of your support is in good shape, you're better off cutting it off an original support. They usually rust out in the bottom rail, but the brackets don't go bad. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a rusted or damaged donor with good brackets. Try an ad in the classifieds.

You could always fab your own if your decent at doing metal work, if that isn't a option for you then the cheapest way would be to buy a core support at a local swapmeet and just use what you need
