A cutoff wheel in a hand grinder, a small disc grinder, spot weld drill tool and careful measurements.

A sawzall with bi metal blade is viscous for cutting metal. An option to consider..

i used my grinder with a cut off wheel on it.. then drilled out the spot welds where needed... worked great..just watch out for the sparks... i set my pants on fire... graemlins/clonk.gif

Use caution with the grinder or saws. Grinders create sharks that pit glass and plastic. Saws cut through lines wires and braces.

Learned the hard way about the dangers of pitting glass. Do you know how hard it was to find the passenger door glass for a 65 2dr wagon!!!
It took a while but I got them.
