I have a small rust spot about the size of a penny pushing up the paint on one of my quarters. Its the very corner at the rear of the tires. My car has a pretty nice paint job thats only a few years old. Is it possible to have that small corner cut off, new metal welded in and just paint that spot? This is no concourse show car, but I want it to look decent. It has a pearl paint job. Can a good body shop blend the paint in?

Yes, but pearls can be hard to match/blend.
