Anyone had problems with reproduction wheel well mouldings for a 69 chevelle. the ones i got from NPD don't fit at all. they are off on one side by .5 to .75".
should i try GM moulding or did my body man mess up something in the quarters? thanks in advance for your help...
Sounds normal for repro ww moldings. The ones I got for my '69 were absolute crap. I think they're all made by the same mfr., C____x. At least one of the GM moldings is no longer available.

The same thing happened to me a year agao. I was very disapointed and the vendor would do nothing other than tell me to call the manufacturer.
I reciently ask a sales person at Classic Muscle about this and the Goodmark trim.
I ask if the Goodmark openings would fit the rear skins I just bought, he assures me they would fit with NO problem and they should also fit the OEM fenders.
Is he telling me a falsehood????

thanks for the responses. now i know i'm not crazy. i get the feeling that i'm going to run into this alot with all the damm repro trim and bolt on stuff i bought. Any other repro stuff i should shy away from? I'd rather find out now then after drilling a few holes.
Anyone know where you can get a new complete set of original wheel moldings. Most of my books have them listed, but seems to me that one of them is hard to find... thanks again.
