Can anyone get me an exact measurement for a 2 door from the front edge of the rocker panel where it meets the fender to the front edge of the 1/4 panel by the door.If you can(without scratching your car)hook a tape measure to the front end of the rocker panel and run it to exactly where the 1/4 panel starts.Any help is greatly appreciated. graemlins/waving.gif

Dave, I just ran out and measured my 70 2-door. Drivers side is 50 1/16". Tim

Here's a picture, maybe closer to 50 1/8". I hope this helps. I had to hold tape with one hand an camera with other.

Dave not sure excatly of the measurement you want. Can you post a pic and show what you want measured? Got 2 70's and can get a tape on both of them...Eric

The reason I want this is because I am trying to determine if the body shop installed my 1/4 panels far enough forward. The door gaps are not as close as they should be and the front fenders are already up against the rocker panels.
The measurement I got was around 50 1/8" to
50 3/16" on both sides which is pretty close to what you came up with.
