When treating metal with a wash treatment like duponts kwik prep 244s thats supposed to stabilize and condition metal for priming and neutralize any rust is one application enough? It turned some of the metal black and some metal yellow orange rust looking.
Should I try to wipe some of this of before I prime? I am working in the window channel .

That stuff does wird color changes to metal, dosen't it? I always wipe the surafce down with lacquer thinner to remove any residue before primering over treated metal. It should be good to go after that.
