Got a real deal on a full set of air ride air bags for my elky. I know the ride is supposed to be great, but how do they compare on the performance side. Am I going to suffer in the corners compared to stiff springs, or are they as easy to tune as the ads say.

They work OK, the downside to bags is that they are a progressive spring so as they compress the rate increases which increases roll stiffness. It's pretty difficult to "tune" a progressive spring. Will this affect handling around town? No, perhaps if you were competing in W2W racing it would be a factor but for spirited back roads driving you won't notice a difference.

Thanks Denny,
Was planning on using springs similar to yours in the front and coilovers in rear, but deal on the bags was to good to pass up. Still have to think it over could allways resale them and get springs.

Are these ART Shockwaves up front with the coolride out back?
I'm about to purchase these kits and have done my research. Mine will be going on a 72 chevelle. If you need any other questions answered let me know either here or email me at gordz32@gmail.com! Good luck

Cool Ride all the way around, got a deal I couldn't pass up on what Air Ride calls their installer package. All the parts, just build it yourself to fit.

I have Slam Specialties bags for mine. As soon as I decide which way I'm going with the spindles, I'll get the bags in it. I'm probably not going the way you are though, because I'm just trying to get as low as I can with the biggest wheels I can fit under it. Gonna try to fit a 20/22 combo and still get it very low.

I'm running Shockwaves on all four corners with their four-way independent analog controller. Had nothing but problems with their Ride Pro E digital controller.
