Where is the best place to order the side stripe for my 69? I'd like a vendor with the best quality. I have a great body shop here that can install it for me. Also from the factory, was this stripe painted on or a stick on? Thanks.

As I understand it, most were decal stripes. Some were painted on. A guy @ a swap meet had, what he claimed to be, factory GM stencils. The painting of the stripes and some decals were done @ the dealerships.
I bought mine from NPD. Excellent quality and no problems. I took mine off later due to personal astetical tastes.

Thanks Jimmy. My car didn't originaly come with the stripes but I sure like how they look on the 69's. I really can't make up my mind what I want to do.

Go to stencils and stripes in IL. They make a great product.

Jody, it's a beauty. I think the white stripes would really look good on it. Are you going to have at CB this year? BTW I got my black stripes at Year One and was satisfied. They were made from 3M material.

Hi Von. Thanks for the compliment but mine won't even compare to your car. I have reservations at the Holiday Inn Express but still don't know if I can be there for CB. If I can be there, I'm planning to bring my car. Hope to see you there again.
