I have a Lincoln weldpack 155 mig. I've looked in the manual and other welding books but I can't find what to set the pressure on the gas regulator at. I'll be welding body panels/spot weld plugs. Does the pressure vary with the gauge of the metal your welding as the amps and wire speed does? Does the pressure vary with the type of shielding gas your using? Sorry for all the questions but I've been away from working on cars for a while and this is now my link to the restoration world. Thanks

I have the same setup, and set it at 22. Been using it this way for years. The people at Airgas said between 20-25. Hope this helps.

BTW that is for CO2-Argon. No I don't vary it. In fact I use the same settings on my 220 wewlder.

You are not setting 'pressure'. You are setting gas flow in cubic feet. MPH131 was correct, set it at or around 22. Best of luck to you. Dennymac
