The metal pins that hold the molding retainer clips are gone the the back window of my 66ss.
I was thinking of using sheet metal screws to hold the clips in place. Does anyone have a better idea?

I think some one posted on this or something similar not too long ago. There are replacement posts that can be screwed in. Would be nice to see a link or a shop that has them.
I welded in new metal and used stainless screws for mine.

If you want to get really into it, Eastwood sells a welder that will duplicate the originals. You could try to find a body shop that has one, that is if you have not done your paint job yet.

Nooooooo! Go down to your bodyglass shop. They'll have the right stuff to put in there. Promise. Some guys still remember how to change a real windshield! graemlins/clonk.gif
