Check Goodmark I Thought they were the same as 2dr. They will know and direct you as to fitting or not.

OK... I found out that AutoObession in Simi Valley can get the door skins for a 69'. I sent them an email and confirmed they had they were for an elky and not a chevelle.

They are from Dyncorn Int. and he said they seem to fit prtty good. It's either get the skin or a whole new door that's gonna need work, so I think I'm gonna order the panel.

Any word on Dyncorn products here?

Anyone else here think Dynacorn is junk?

I'll wait till I hear more response before ordering.

That's the first I've heard of anyone making doorskins for an El Camino.

FYI, doorskins for a '69 El Camino are also doorskins for all '68 thru '72 El Caminos.

Tell 'em if they guarantee they'll fit or they give your money back and pay shipping both ways, you'll buy 'em. Then get back to us and let us know if they fit.

FO_FDYFO, I've thought about getting the two door skins and fitting them. The front fender would match and the rear would have to be cut and fitted. Also the holes for the handle and key would have to be recut.

It might even be easier to split it down the center and weld it back together the correct length.

Chad,

I'll keep you updated. Yes, this is the first I have heard of a skin for a Camino. Here is the message he sent me:

>I am in need of a 69 left door skin for the entire panel, not a rust patch
>panel. Am I reading correctly that you carry this product?? 68 Chvl, 69-72Elc left 134.95
>If So, Who is the manufacturer of the panel and how is the fit of these
>panels. I really don't want to have to get the entire door.
>Thanks,

Yes, you're reading that right. They are manufactured by a company called DII. I've sold a few of these, including one to a body shop, and have had no complaints!

So, I guess I am going to order one and see how it fits. My door has bondo 1/4 thick where the top of the fender meets the door, very nasty.

396boy, I ordered a pair of goodmark fenders for the 70 chevelle. The fit and finish on them was terrible, thin metal wavy metal. I could have made better fitting fenders myself. When I called up the dealer they insisted that were goodmark fenders. BUt everything Ive ever ordered from goodmark came in a goodmeark box with a goodmark sticker, these didnt. I called up goodmark and gave them the part number found out they were not goodmark made fenders but fenders made by one of the competeriors-Dyacorn.

Once again a call back to the dealer and finally I got them to admit that they were indeed Dyacorn fenders NOT the goodmarks. The guy on phone bluntly said that they can purchase Dyacorn products cheaper then goodmarks. So what do they do they buy Dyacorn products and pass them off as Goodmarks for a higher profit.

Once I finally got my goodmark fenders they fit so much better, even better then the OEM fenders that I removed. Ive seen full 67 chevelle quarters out on the market 3 years ago, but goodmark only made them last this year. The finish and quailty on those quarters were terrible a joke. I asked the vendor who made them and I got the response of Dyacorn.
