Tell them basicly what you have told us, but leave out the part about YOUR car. I don't know about in Canada, but around my area autobody techs are VERY hard to come by. Getting a job is very easy, they are dieing to hire anyone. If you get a little training, SOMETHING, it will help a lot. Check with your college tech programs or even videos available. Just go in with SOMETHING. Good luck, I have been in the business for about 25 years and I can tell you it has been very good to me and I love doing it everyday.

Well, not this past Friday, I dropped a car on a frame rack on my foot! Broke a toe and I will be off work for a week or so. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif

72Chevelle, you may get a kick out of these photos. They are of me back in 1975 when I was I had just turned 16! I still have the truck. You get all the info you can, buy videos what ever. But more importantly, take BUSENESS courses at school. You need to know how the shop runs from inside the office and out. You will really be a valuable employee then!!
