Its not out of the 'velle, but out of my 94 s-10 SS (yes they did make an SS http://www.chevelles.com/forum/tongue.gif). I had to section the gas tank so the 4link would fit, but how do I seal the welds on the inside of the tank? I have zinc primer at work for the outside, but I'm baffled as to sealing the inside to prevent rust.

Anyone want to help me? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Check with Original Parts Group or JC Whitney. One of them sells a gas tank sealer. I have some I haven't used yet but can't remember who I ordered it from. The sealer is primarily intented to seal tanks that have minor pin hole leaks and also to slow down the rust. It's the only sealer I know that serves that purpose.

POR15 makes a gas tank sealer. The tank must be out of the vehicle to apply it. I used it on a motorcycle tank and was very satisfied.

edit- OOps, should've said Restomotive Labs not POR15... their web site is at www.por15.com (http://www.por15.com)

3m makes a sealer that goes by the product number 776. I am not sure who sells it though. It is a "slosh" sealer; that is you pour it in and drain out the excess and then let it dry. It leaves behind a rubbery coating.
