The numbers on the end are
SSH-310-NC
Crane
11-3183
I looked at crane's site and couldn't find it. It's an older cam and it's not available anymore (or so I'm told). I liked the way it idled and I'd like to get something similar.
It's for a small block by the way.
Thanks,
David

Hi Dave, that's an early 1980's hydraulic grind, 310 adv. duration, 236 @ .050", 114L/S, and a.485" lift. Part number for cam is 114051. This part number has since been reassigned to a later cam, so don't offer this part number or you'll get the wrong card. You may be able to call Crane and get a cam card for it still, but make sure you use the grind number and NOT the part number. As I said it's been changed. Average RPM range given as 3200/6700. Thanks, Gary in N.Y.
P.S. Not sure what the other numbers are, but most likely a serial number. It was a decent cam at the time.

Hey guys thanks.
The 11-3183 is and engine and date code. 11 is SBC and I'm guessing March 1st 83 or March 18th 83 (93?)...
It was a running cam in the 327 it was in. 291 heads, torker intake, 650dp... Needed more compression. It had the "10:1" flat top pistons that actually were about 9:1 when you calculated it out...
