I know this is completey a wild a$$ quess for everyone but how much would polishing an alumn head gain in cc's. If the heads are 72cc would you think the cc would increase by a couple or not at all. My Dart Pro 1's are suppose to be 72cc from Dart but (never verified) and were polished and again (never verified after polishing) How accurate are Dart with their numbers typically.
Thanks, Ron

Ron,
You are not going to see a difference from polishing them. If you go to my web page and look at the "new engine" folder you will see how much work it is to remove a cc. It's a lot more material than people think. I have the same heads as you. When I cc'd the chambers they were not all exactly 72cc. For my application I needed to take them all to 75cc. I think I might have all the numbers on my page as far as before and after.
Edit: I just checked my notes and stock the heads ranged from 69cc - 72cc many were at 70cc. I "adjusted" them all to 75cc. There are before and after pictures there too.
