Hello, has anyone heard of or know of a place in So Jersey that did Motion conversions. My SS had a crate LS-6 with 800 miles per previous owner, who was in Kool & the gang. He was loaded $$ but not a wrench. He had a back yard mechanic in his neighborhood do the work, which I think he may have subbed out to Motion?? Due to the quality of the work done. The stock oil pan was deepened along with the pump, the heads had a pocket port?? per my machinist, had the Motion valve covers, aftermarket dual point dist, 950 3bbl was in the trunk. The frame had 2 pcs of flat steel welded to the frame in front of the rear wheels, welded in ladder bars, beefed up m-20, 4.10 12 bolt. What do you guys think?? I have factory docs build sheet, protecto-plate ect. Thanks alot Dave K.

This link has information about Motion Performance and Baldwin Chevrolet. They were both located in Baldwin, L.I., New York, and partnered to build the famous Baldwin-Motion super cars. Motion didn't just do conversions with Baldwin Chevrolet. Anyway, check out the link.

Joel Rosen of Motion Performance is now working with new investors/owners of Motion Performance to build a new super 69 Camaro. They are operating out of Florida, if I remember the information in the brochure I got at the BJ Auction.

There is a place in South NJ that does conversions but didn't do them for Motion.
Ed Hamburger of SLP in Toms River.

I've read that Joel Rosen will inspect and confirm or deny Motion cars but charges a lot of $$$ for the service.

He used to hang out on the Second Generation Z page, Mad Mike is the moderator.

He would confirm or deny the authenticity of any vehicle, but it was $1500. If it was proven, you got a letter, and copies of paperwork from him.
I'd email Mad Mike, and see if he can put you in contact with Joel.
