My car originally came with a Powerglide and I need to find one. What numbers am I lookng for to match the car?
07 = July
C = 3rd week
67 = Model year
13867 = Super Sport CONVert.

Also, what is a decent price for one of these?

I found this on a camaro site, would this be the same for Chevelles?

You are at least looking for a 1.76 low Powerglide with the steel drum. They were used on 327 and larger engines. The 396 version must surely have a denser clutch pack.
Are you sure you couldn't be talked into a nice TH400? They were available stock, and I don't think anyone would crucify you for it.
I'm running a six & Powerglide and have no plans to change it. It doesn't perform as badly as it should; with a 396 and the additional torque it brings could probably work fairly well. Still GM had the nice Turbohydro 400 in '67 and it would be a shame to pass on such a nice trans.

I would love to have a Turbo 400 or even a 4 speed, but the trim tag had 2MG. Which from what I was told was the powerglide.
I am finishing up a 68 Camaro that I didn't take back stock. I think I am going to take this one back as close to stock as I can.
