lacquer can go over enamel,but not enamel over lacquer,correct?painting my rear panel on my 67with eastwoods 10 20 cut semi black lacquer, and just want to make sure,dont want it lifting and such--67rat

I'm no body man but I remember years ago I tried spaying rattle can black lacquer over a frame that was sprayed with acyrlic enamel and it looked like a wrinkle paint job when I was done. I don't know if a sealer primer will help.

It' the opposite. Enamel over laquer.

ok,eastwoods 10 20 semi blach lacquer is the closest color I can find in a spray can,dont want to mask the whole car and pull out all the paint eqip to do this just gotta get the right primer,been a while since I sprayed lacquer from spray cans--thanks 67rat
