Drop me an e-mail with your address, I'll put a publication in the mail from Super Chevy, it gives excellent instructions and diagrams. I can vouch for the acuracy, found most of the markings on my own orig 70 SS, Also if you need a nice set of resto decals go to my web page - link there.

Thks

Rich

P.S. I drive both my cars - it's fun!!!!!

Alot of the markings were done differently from plant to plant also. What plant was your car built at? I know that several magazine articles that I have seen about this were wrong. The best thing to do is carefully clean your old parts to look for the markings then duplicate them.

It's a Baltimore car.I'm sure your right, plant to plant, shift to shift, worker to worker, and you know what they say.Never buy a car built on a Monday,or Friday.I was careful on disassembly and found only a couple of markings.

The only thing more fun than driving them is obsessing over the detais :)
