Looking to keep front down on 66 nova . Current shocks are lakewood 90/10 and watching video front stays up most of track and not sure how much et is taken away? Or are expensive double adj. needed? Koni single is 79$ and qa1 doubles are $280. Any advice is helpful! thanks much, CURRENT BEST IS 11.64 115.5 MPH AND 1.54 60 FT. with 327 5 speed , AL

If you want SPA1 front shocks, i have a set for sale. They have roughly 20 passes on them.

I stepped up to a $1500 set, which are alot better, but the Koni's Work well for shocks *in their price range*.

The spa-1 shocks set on 60/40 did not let my front end come back off the travel limiters. The Qa1 coil over kit rides on the limiter also. I'm starting to think it is more of an aerodynamic issue then shock valve compression setting. $1500 front shocks? I don't have $1500 in front and rear shocks and springs. What kind of 60' times come with the $1500? Tom

Power like yours and my sons try to carry the front end up high the whole length of the track but maybe expensive shocks would let the car come down a bit. What brand of shock did you get Brian, (Santhuff, Afco, ???)? Have you been able to tell any difference with the new high dollar ones?

I've got santhuffs all the way around and they were NOWHERE near $1500 with springs. Maybe penske?

I think a pair of santhuffs goes for just under $1k with springs.

Keep guessing. Not quite Penske, Penske are about $3000 a set (4 corners).

What i paid for is the range of adjustability, the shocks alone done make the car 60ft. Thats $1500 for 4 corners.

I got tired of the limited range of adjustability in other shocks, and i wanted to step it up to the good stuff and be done with it.

I guess I misread what you posted. I read it as $1500 for a pair. My double adjustable custom valved rear Afco's with springs where $740.00

$hit I misread too. Here I thought you spend $3K and you spend $1500 and I spent $2K.

I have heard Santhuffs are worth the difference on a high horsepower car though... I'll find out.

Chad,
You're good, hehehe.
Worth their weight in Gold!

They use the Santhuff's on ProMods so they must be top notch.
