How do you determine if a cam bearing is to nicked up to be reused on a cam swap?
I did one yesterday and the last bearing lobe (one behind the dist. teeth) gouged the last cam bearing a little on exit. I had probably 4 to 6 small pieces of metal laying on the cam bearing. Is this bearing OK?
I know its hard to understand what I mean by explaining it and I could not be explaining it correctly. I do have the ability to post a pic.
