I have a tilt GM column, 4-speed car but I don't know what it fits. Is there any way to find out? I would like to put it in my '70 Chevelle. Thanks for the help.

Run a part number. Check in a part cross book.
Measure the column length/shaft diameter/spline count/steering wheel mounting and make sure it has some sort of energy absorbing mechanism.
