Need some help identifying if these are important. The T400 doesn't kick down when I punch it, nor does the door to the cowl induction open automatically, (it does open with vacuum though) so i'm wondering if the right thing is even plugged in.

Number 1 is an orange wire plugged into the kickdown switch.
Number 2 is a black and purple wire plugged into the switch.

These are coming right in through the firewall, anybody know what they are?

3,5 and 4,6 are all plugs that come off two different pink wires, very close to the kickdown switch. it looks like 3 and 4 would both fit on the switch. The pink wires come in through the firewall, and continue up to the back of the dash somewhere, I haven't been able to follow them.

I also noticed when I slide the kickdown switch it does not slide easily on the way back. It seems to catch going both ways at the end of the slide with an almost deliberate tiny clicking like a very small comb is in there. Anybody elses does that?

thanks, Mitch

To see this picture better and see the numbers I put on it, you will need to click on it to open it up larger in a pop up window.

Would probably get more replys if you post this in electrical. Just going off memory since wiring diagrams don't show options. The orange wire goes to the tranny for kickdown, the black/pink should be 12v with ign on. The pink wires are usually switched power, hot with ign on. Don't know where they go. Need someone familiar with cowl induction wiring to help you with these. Looks like 3 or 4 could plug directly into the ign terminal on the fuse box.
