Can anyone tell me what the date is on this rearend. I need to know if it came out in 1969.
The number on the housing is BM1102G1

BM= Chevy II 3:31 open.
11= Oct
02= day
G= Detroit

I was wondering if this came out of a camaro. The guy I am buying it from said it came out of a 1969 camaro SS car. Could that be true. I noticed that the BM ment it came out of a Chevy II.

BM is also listed for 68-69 Camaro same 3.31 ratio.
I believe the rears are the same for Chevy II and Camaro.

In checking my Camaro book, BM is also correct for a 1969 Camaro.
