Hello,
I'm looking for pics where to weld on the bracket for the Z bar return spring on a 4-speed. This is for a 67SS. I need pics. I have tried to get measurement but not good. You can send them to: dude67@access4less.net

According to the AIM, the center of the slot on the bracket is 1.8" towards the rear of the car from the center of the gage hole. And it is 16.52" to the left of the center of the car.

You may want to set the engine in before you weld the bracket on, just to check the alignment.


*EDIT* OK, I missed the "return spring" part of your post, I'll see if I can find a picture of that.

Thanks for the pics. I need a really good shot of where the bracket for the Z-Bar return spring is located on the lower firewall. There is spring that holds the lower rod onto the clutch fork I need the other one above it.

Its hard to get a good shot with the engine in. See if any of these will help.
