: White interior mismatch - PUI

I ordered white interior kit for my '71. The rear door panels are noticeably darker than the front door panels. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the front door panels are marked 71-72 white. The rear are marked 70-72 white. I have had '70 models with the ivory interior and I know that 70 ivory is a different color than '71-'72 white; this explains why they are a different color because they are trying to use the same panel for two different shades of white. These are the assembled panels. I called the vendor and they had another set shipped to me (very nice to work with), but they are the same as the first set. My next step is to contact PUI directly instead of the vendor since this is not the vendor's fault, but I wanted to find out if anyone else has had the same problem. If so, what was the resolution.

Mine were an exact match. Sounds like someone screwed up...twice maybe? :D

i have a sandalwood color interior in my 71 bu apart from the chrome detail being a little funky and not the same as original it was a perfect match, but they didnt make the seats with the cloth inserts at the time i bought mine

I recently bought the complete interior kit from Ground Up for the '72 convert....in white.
Shipped directly from PUI...all the panels match in the correct shade of white.
Your's must be a mixup...

Sounds to me like a packaging/labeling issue at PUI. They should take care of this issue no problem.
