Hi i'm new memebr to the site and love it so far. I just bought a 72 Chevelle that I'll be restoring. can anyone tell the best place to buy fenders, qauter panel patches, etc. I've heard some places parts don't fit or are thin metal. also are the panel patches good to use? thanks http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

See if you can find a Goodmark dealer near you or go to www.goodmark.com (http://www.goodmark.com) to find one. and WELCOME to the BEST site on the net.

progress has little to do with speed, but lots to do with direction.

I've heard horror stories about the aftermarket fenders not fitting, would patching the fenders on it be a better way to go? Thanks

Gary,
The best fender for the price is a used GM fender. You will likely find it will fit with minimal shims.

Sundells in PA is closest to you. They should have decent fenders. Do a web search for their address.

Our sponsor, http://ss396.com/ , should be able to handle most anything you need.
