1 of the bushing holes in my frame has rusted out preety badly. how do i fix this? thanks Dave

helped fix a friends frame one time that had 2 of the holes for bushings rusted out. I assume you have the body off the frame now? What we did was take a ruler and measured from the edge of the hole for the the bushing out 6" in the center of the frame and used a drill bit to drill a small hole. we then cut out the area and cut a section out of an old truck frame he had around, we welded this section in place, used the hole in the frame we drilled and measure back up 6" and drew a line. then using a hole saw with the line as our guide and drilled a new hole. good as new.

Most Weld Washers in place. FO_FDYFO has a detailed site on his frame restoration. He welded washers on his and it looks great.
