Hello all,
I just picked up a mostly original 67 Chevelle. Its got the original 283 and AC that works. Previous owner added SS gauges and a front swaybay. Swapped the PG for a TH350. Upgraded to an AFB 4 bbl and stock manifold from a similar year car. It did get a cheap repaint in the 80's thats cracking and fading now. I got a stack of receipts that date back to 1976. Its got the original 14 wheels and hubcaps, column shift and a split bench.

Hi,

Great car! I really like the '67's. Do you have any future plans for it?

Thanks ALL.
I bought the car in Cali. Its a Frezno built car and spent its life around Burbank. VIN# 136177Z156576
As far as plans, I'm torn. Original Vs. Modified - I dont need the black CA plates and I know they're worth money, but they were original to the car. I would like to upgrade with some Baer brakes and 17 rolling stock; A quick ratio steering box; and ultimately a Keisler 5 speed conversion.:clonk:

. . . But its cool all stock (except for manual drums all around)

This will be my Daily Driver...so I think function will out weigh keeping it stock. I just registered it today... I ordered a custom plate... 1BAD67

I'll have to update my cardomain sight now .... ..

I also have a 1971 C10 Stepside .... I'm on www.67-72chevytrucks.com too

Welcome MCMLXIX. Once you change that rad cap to a proper AC Delco 15 lb. cap you are set to cruise for the next 20 years! Nice car BTW.

Try the kevlar brake shoes by Praise Dyno. You can keep those manual 4-wheel drum binders and actually get them to work with some authority while still looking astonishingly stock.
