Hello, Please forgive me as I'm young and stupid :(
But how can I tell my wheel size, they are American Racing rims that came on my 71 Malibu but I don't see any markings anywhere, all I do know is my tire sizes.

Rear Tire Size = 255/60/15
Front Tire Size = 235/60/15

I want to put 275/50/15 on the rear so they are wider but smaller diameter.
How can I tell if they will fit besides going to a tire shop? The 15 from the tire tells me its a 15 inch rim but thats all I know :(

Also this is not a sale in any way but how much do the original Ralley rims go for, the guy who I bought the car from gave them too me with brand new tires and I don't know what to do with them.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, got to learn somehow, I got no role models in my life.

I say keep the ralleys and repaint them if they are in bad shape. a 275 60 15 would be better so the highth of your tires are the same you dont want to mess with that. the more meat in the back will give you the look you are looking for. but that size will be hard to find and have to be ordered most likely and will propably be around 115$ bucks apiece for anything thats of good quality.

Well the ralleys are chrome and not in bad shape so repainting is out. As for 275 60 15 that would be one inch more in diameter than my current ones which I already think are too big (27"), im not into the whole huge back sloped dragster look, I like original flat but wide, I want 26" thus 275 50 15 and lower the rear suspension to stock. I just wish I knew if 275s would fit on my rims :( I don't even know the model of my American Racing rims :(
