I have a 72 El Camino that I am getting ready to start a frame off restore on & the bed floor & the bed floor braces have to be replaced. Should I replace these B-4 taking the body off the frame.
I'm not sure if the body can stand the stress unless the bed braces and floor are replaced 1st.

I'm not sure if the body can stand the stress unless the bed braces and floor are replaced 1st. It is best to replace you panels first so that the body does not tweak up on you and get lopsided.
