James I did a search and saw you replaced your door detents(your Camino looks great btw) A couple of ?'s for you.
Where did you get em-the detents-
were they direct replacements
I'm replacing my hinge bushings soon and the roller bushing just broke today.

I know my name isn't James but are you talking about your door hinges? I rebuilt mine for my 72 with a kit I bought from either Year One or OPG, can't remember as it's been a while. Worked out great! If you're talking about tailgate hinges, the parts are discontinued from GM. I used pins and bushings for a full size Chevy truck then cut the excess off to fit.
Thanks for the pictures of your engine, that's a neat setup you made. I just may have to copy a little of it for mine!

Hi guys! I got the detent kits I used from OPG. They are not exact repos but they fit and function very well, and appear to be a quality product.

The new ones fit together with allen head bolts which make installation a snap(with the hinge off the car).

Thanks guys yes they are the door hinges.
The old roller looks to be mounted on a long pin is this pin removed then replaced with the allen head bolt?
