I have a 1970 Chevelle with an AM radio. The car is not in my possesion at this time and I need the measurements of the radio. A radio I am looking at has knobs that are 5 3/4 inches apart center-to-center. The dial face will aparently fit openings from 2 by 4 inches up to 2.5 by 4.5 inches. The radio body is 8.5 wide by 7 deep by 3.5 tall in inches.
Should this radio fit my car??

chevelle radios have a fixed shaft 6 1/4" apart.
