looking to paint filler panel on 69ss conv,think it should be black..gloss or flat?thanks to all for your help....

The filler panel should be semi-gloss black. If you have a grease marker, write the letters "SS" on the top of the filler panel just below where the grille starts to hide the filler panel. These letters were put on at the factory to indicate an SS grille (blackened versus silver malibu highlights).
