I don't have my car here to look at but I believe mine are angled in slightly at the top. Is yours a back half or stock rail car?

we used the stock rails to get the wheel hupes and fab the front part for the ladder bars.i wish i would have bought the s/w back havf now it would have been alot easer .of couse it would have cost more to.but it would have saved alot of work and time.how did you set your shocks for up and down movement.

Which coil overs are you using? I know I installed a QA1 kit, and they suggested that the mounts be 14" apart and I would mount them either striaght up or with a slight inward tilt, no more than 5 degrees. If they are mounted at angles the shocks start to loose there affectiveness.

this is what i did it may not be right but its to late now .the shock brackets instrucksions .said to mount the brackets at 6 degrees whitch i did then i raised the rear till the drive shaft hit the loop and then let it down a hair and bottom out the shocks and mounted the braket to the frame. the shocks are in line with the brackets .i tried to call s/w and the guy that was in teck was out or something.so maybe its right .i guess if i would have ordered there upper brackets it probable would have had the instrucksions but we made our own.thanks any ways.

Always as perpendicular to the ground as possible and as far apart as you can find room.

thanks men at least i put them as close to the frame rails as i could get them as not to hit but they are in line with the brakets that were set at 6 degrees inward
