Got my door and quarter glass in and when I lower the door glass I get a squealling houling sound. The inner felt alignment thingies look worn and it seems like they're the cause. Are these available? Can they be recovered? Any tips?

BTW is it a giant PITA to install the Qtr glass, tracks and regulators? Or did I just do it the wrong way... The front glass almost intalled itself...

You should be able to get some stuff to recover those at a fabric store. Another cause of that is having them adjusted too tight against the glass.

I'm pretty sure they did it before I pulled the glass, but just for reference how tight should they be? I dropped the glass below the felt and adjusted them so they just touched the glass.
