Did the 1970 console door have the lock asm on it or was that only in 69?

70 has a lock also....

69's don't have a lock on the console.

As Dean said, the 69 console did not have a lock, but it did use a spring loaded ball type latch mechanism. And for what its worth, the 68 version lacked a latch of any sort. No lid liner either. And the seatbelt clips were located differently.

No console lock on my 69..
