Can anyone tell me if original 12 bolt upper control arms had the reinforcing washers stamped to both of the arms? I just found a set in a junkyard and only one, driver side, has the reinforcement. I am a bit confused.

I am currently doing a frame off on my 67SS and I noticed this as well on 1 control arm and thought it was odd. I'm not sure which arm it was and can't look right now because the frame and all the componets are at the powdercoater. I should be getting it all back later next week. If you don't get an answer by then I'll repost here what I have.

Makes perfect sense now that someone explained to me how and why the reinforcement was even put onto the 12 bolt rears. Thanks
