Should there be any sealer on the rear panel molding clips or just the clips and the nuts and bolts? If there is a sealer what kind?
Is there a bottom and top to the molding?
The car is a 69 chevelle ss.
Thanks for any help
Jerry

Jerry Jerry, the fat molding goes on bottom and the thin molding goes on the top. The 4 stud/speed nuts used a buytl type sealer just like the ones on the rear taillight extensions. the centers were a plastic clip that used a little rubber o-ring to seal. the plastic clips are not reproduced but you can use spring clips/speed nuts like on the ends.Thats what I did. I used buytl tape because we have it at work, but some good automotive sealer (not silicone) should work too.
