Upon getting my 65 hardtop back from the body man for floors, collision damage, quarter patches, I took the body off the frame and began to inspect. I have found only two spots that I'm worried about. The rear outer wheelhouses both have rust spots. I am trying to figure out the best way to approach this. My intent is to make the underbody structurally sound and then coat it with a good undercoating. I wish the body man had addressed this with the quarter patch area cut out. Now I'm afraid of welding in a new patch due to the proximity of the quarter skin. Any ideas?
