I am now ready to pull the body off of the frame. I am a little nervous because there is a heavy amount of rust in the driver's side floor. Underneath the rust holes the frame is cracked and has a huge amount of rust. This seems to be the problematic area of my car. (Because the amount of rust). I am afraid to pull the body off of the frame because im worried that the body will tweak and won't fit properly when I go to put it back on the frame. I have pictures I can email someone that is willing to help. I just want everything to go over pretty well. Should I replace the floor before i pull it off or do you think that the body will be just fine if pulled evenly?

mine was badly rusted on the inner rockers and windsheild chanel, and the trunk and floors were rusted, along with the frame. pulled the body off the frame replaced, and or repared all the rust, droped it back on the frame and fitted fine. I also did not brace the doors. this was all on a 66 2 door hard top

As long as it's not a convertible and your rockers are in good shape, you should be fine.
