I've been running 30 spline axles (Dutchman race axles) since I built my car. Now that I'm in the 10.20 range, I'm wondering.........
Not sure why I didn't step up to the 33 spline initially, but I didn't.
Am I in trouble?
Car weighs 3500 and 60ft in the mid 1.4 range. Spool of course.
Hoping that improves with a new ATI converter and suspension tweaks.

According to the moser catalog. Multiply, engine torque X first gear in trans X rear gear X .9. if this is less than 6200 you are fine.

Looks like it comes out to 5500............

Moser shows on a 30 spline axle 6200 lbs PER axle. This builds a 200% safety factor. Here is what I came up with my setup. 680 torqueX2.48X 4.88X.9= 7407. I have 33 spline axles and moser recommends 8200 lbs Per axle on a 33.

Looks like I'm probably ok!
