I Bought Some Used Bucket Seats On E-bay Last Spring. Before I Reappolster Them I Want To Make Sure They Are Correct For The Car. They Look The Same As Seats Seen In SS Chevelles Sold On E-bay. The Mounting Bolt Holes Are 13 Inches Apart Center To Center By Measuring The Width & The Front To Back Dist Is 15 Inches Center To Center. Is Ths Correct ? Also I've Been Told The Correct Placement Of The Seats Is 16 Inches From The Center Of The Rear Bolt To The Rear Seat & 8 Inches From The Center Of The Outer Bolts Both Front And Rear To The Rocker. Is This Correct ? Also Is There A Installation Kit That You Can Bye To Make Sure The Angle Of The Seats Is Correct ? Thanxs :-)

Never really ever measured the mounts before. What I did in a previous car was mount the seat to the outside existing seat studs with the inboard mount strip from a resto company and mark the floor (no carpet installed) . Then I took the inboard mount off the seat and had it welded in place on the floor. Seem to work. BTW if the seats have a side mount back release they are for a 68 A-body (cutlass, GTO, lemans, Chevelle, Skylark etc) if the back release is in the back of the seat they are out of a 69-72. They all mount the same.
BTW your caps lock is on. That is why your post starts every word with an upper case letter. HTH good luck.
